Welcome to the 2025 Asian American Golf Cup in Chicago
This event is one of the most prestige golf team competition tournament for amateur golfer in America. Asian American golfers are prominent force in both men's and women's amateur and professional golf. You can expect to see Asian American golfer feature their skills in a variety of tournaments throughout our community.
Join our AAGolf Cup, get ready to tee off with us. We are excited to invite golfers of all skill level to join us for a day of friendly competition, community spirit, and fantastic golf. Its a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow golf enthusiasts from different countries of origin.


Format:
Ryder Cup format
One-Day 2 match-play competitions between all participants countries team players. Front 9-hole Fourball Match (2-Men Vs 2-Men from their countries), Back 9-hole, 2-Men Combined Scores Match.
A fourball match is a competition between two teams of two golfers assigned by the organizer. All four golfers play their own ball throughout the round (first 9 hole). The better score of the team two golfers win the hole. Each hole is won by the team whose individual golfer has the lowest score.
In a 2-Men combined scores match game, two partners play against another two partners. On each hole, all players play their own ball, and the score of the two partners add up together is then compared to the opposing team total score to determine who wins that specific hole.
The team that wins the most holes wins the overall match of 18-holes. Handicaps are not applied in these types of games to ensure fair competition between team of varying skill levels.
At The Arboretum Golf Club, Buffalo Grove, IL
This is a ONE-DAY 18 hole Championship team competition. Entry fee includes green fees, cart fees, practice facility, player gift, prizes, trophies, snacks, beverages and closing ceremony dinner.
STARTING TIMES: Shotgun style and pairings will be informed to each team captain. A player is responsible for being at the assigned tee promptly to begin play on time. Tee Times; if a player arrives at their starting tee box, ready to play within five (5) minutes of his/her starting time, the penalty for failur to start on time is a two strokes penalty ( Rule 6-3a).
This event is pre-paid, so, for any reason the player misses the game, the organizers are not responsible for any refund or reimbursement of any kind.

The Team Captain of their country is responsible to pair his own team partners, then submit his players to AAGOLF CUP organizers. All players must have their handicap/or average score based on last 50 games.
